You never know what kinds of things you will find out about yourself when you embark on something that you will, only in hindsight, recognize as "a lot of work." I never imagined that I would work on a webcomic, let alone work on a webcomic with such a talented young artist such as Kozispoon. I find myself challenged to come up with ideas and strips that will not only be funny to me, but challenging and enjoyable to her as well. The whole process certainly turned into something more than I imagined and there are days when I am just so dog tired that the very idea of writing something funny and then compiling it into a comic for you becomes abhorrent at best.

With that said, a brief history of undeadninjas would be in order. I have owned the undeadninjas name for the better part of nearly five years now and it has been everything from a simple place holder to a blog-esque site for me to simply purge my inner child with a frying pan and a two-by-four. In October of 2003, two of my closest friends, Fei and his wife Dako, moved in with my brother Ron and me. Dako and I had talked about doing a webcomic earlier and on Halloween 2003 the first strip was launched to a rather unpredictable schedule. We only produced a limited number of strips before Dako decided to pursue other creative outlets.

Insert Kozispoon here. Kozi and I began dating in November of 2003 and after Dako parted ways with the crew, undeadninjas went into limbo as school began to dominate ninjadan's life. Fast-forward to July 2004 when ninjadan and Kozi decide that it is time for undeadninjas to live once more. Of course what none of you really see is Ron harassing me day-in-day-out for a new strip. As it turns out, his constant, shall we call it "motivation," to get a new strip is what has kept us alive.
